Senior Product Leader | Identity, Platform & AI | B2C Enterprise
I build the products and platforms that millions of people rely on — without ever noticing. Identity, fulfilment, personalisation — at the scale where the stakes are real and the complexity is unforgiving.
Eighteen years across six FTSE100 and three Fortune Global 500 organisations — all multinationals. Author of Product Truths: Five Principles for Building Products That Work at Scale (2026). The through-line: taking the programmes others said couldn't be done and delivering them to a standard nobody thought achievable. Retail technology, government infrastructure, financial services, B2C at scale — the context changes. The outcome doesn't.
Currently: Leading a Group identity platform serving tens of millions of customer accounts across five markets and six Group subsidiaries — spanning authentication, access management, personalisation and fraud signals at consumer scale (at Tesco plc).
Previously: Sky · Barclays · Vodafone · Fidelity International · Department for International Trade · O2 (Telefónica UK) · Capgemini/HMRC · Centrica · BT · Motorola
What I specialise in
Three things that rarely sit in the same person:
Identity & IAM at consumer scale — authentication, access management, fraud signals, and platform architecture serving tens of millions. Billions of API calls monthly. Zero-defect delivery under both exacting regulatory scrutiny as well as under the demanding expectations of hyperscale retail.
M&A integration and separation — experience across both sides of major corporate transactions, at FTSE scale. The £700m Tesco Bank divestiture. The first-ever Group identity integration across Tesco and its enduring financial services subsidiary (Tesco Insurance & Money Services). Fixed horizons, complex legacy, multiple parties.
Platform transformation and turnaround — five separate first-of-kind or turnaround proof points across government, banking, telecoms, and retail. Programmes that had stalled for years, delivered in months — a recurring pattern.
Selected proof points
· Led the identity platform separation enabling the £700m Tesco Bank divestiture — on time, zero incidents, Christmas peak delivery
· Delivered the first-ever Group identity integration — 2 million customers migrated, 60% adoption in five months, held up as a Group exemplar
· Scaled online fulfilment from 800k to 1.4 million weekly orders during the pandemic — underpinning £2.3bn of incremental online sales
· Turned around the UK Government's Data Hub CRM in four months — now recording 4 million+ cumulative business interactions, seven years on
· Led identity and Clubcard integration across Central Europe (three markets) — 674 stores, millions of customers, two previous failed attempts before this programme
Annual Report citations across six organisations — Tesco (2022, 2025), HMRC (2017–18), Sky (2012), Centrica (2012), BT (2016).
